AirAsia Philippines Pioneers Inclusive Cabin Crew Recruitment

“We are reimagining the way we do our recruitment process to focus more on the essentials---talent, attitude and skills needed to become a successful cabin crew. Awarded for the 8th consecutive time as World’s Best Low-Cost Cabin Crew by Skytrax, not only do we live and breathe the standards of safety, we make sure that the work environment is fun and inclusive. By changing the game, we also wish to take part in the purposeful journeys of cabin crew aspirants who are deserving to live the sky high dream.” ~Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer

By shattering prejudices and promoting an inclusive cabin crew recruitment process, AirAsia Philippines is leading the way in a revolutionary process.

The World's Best Low Cost airline will welcome applicants for cabin crew starting on Wednesday, August 20–29, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Candidates will no longer need to wear the traditional formal clothes and apply full makeup.  Alternatively, they can dress more affordably, with male candidates wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and casual rubber shoes, and female candidates wearing a white shirt, denim skirt, and heels.

The selection procedure for potential cabin crew members will be conducted in a more service and guest-oriented manner, eschewing the typical runway screening and immersing them in a more realistic work environment. They will also now have a preview of the Allstar culture, which allows each applicant to experience a day in the life of the sky before they are employed.

Future Allstars must bring a current, non-AI-generated photo and an updated CV or resume. They must meet the minimal height criteria based on their Body Mass Index (BMI) and be prepared to flash their sweetest smiles.

Senior high school grads are welcome to apply, while AirAsia wants college graduates to join.  Being multilingual or having fluency in both written and spoken English and Filipino is viewed as advantageous.

This is AirAsia Philippines' fourth open day of hiring, opening doors for three batches this year and constantly accumulating for intake needs the following year.
