Bioderm Clean White Relaunches with a Renewed Purpose: Celebrating Moms as Everyday Heroes in “Bida sa Alaga” Movement

"Kahit simpleng hugas-kamay o paligo, nagiging bonding na rin namin ni Sixto. Ang sarap sa feeling kasi ang bango ng Bioderm Clean White! Plus, kampante rin ako kasi alam kong malinis kami." ~Marian Rivera, a hands-on mom, and her son, Sixto, as the faces of the Bida sa Alaga Movement

Alagang di mo hiningi,
pero araw-araw niyang binibigay.
Sa simpleng kilos—
dama mong mahal ka niya.

These small moments have included Bioderm Clean White, formerly known as Bioderm Pristine.  When it really counts, the Filipino family is there.  Through the "Bida sa Alaga" movement, the brand is starting a new chapter in 2025 with a more profound goal: to recognize and celebrate the silent yet potent love of Filipino mothers.

The Bida sa Alaga Movement honors ordinary love—the type that provides protection without expecting anything in return.  "Andito lang ako" is expressed through the soft touch of each freshly laundered towel, the comforting aroma following a warm bath, and the comforting embrace.

It's time to give mothers the recognition they merit, not only as caregivers but also as the providers, guardians, and center of every household.  Because they are genuinely the Bida in every modest, considerate deed.

It's easy to ignore care in a world that is getting faster by the day.  But more than ever, we are reminded that the people who care about us the most are the first to truly defend us.  Mothers of today are more deliberate, making decisions that provide their families with safe, nurturing care.

This is the role of Bioderm Clean White, which now has a germ-killing solution (based on representative microorganisms examined) and, when applied consistently, leaves skin feeling clean and fragrant with white flowers.

Bioderm Clean White is pleased to introduce Marian Rivera, a hands-on mother, and her son, Sixto, as the faces of the Bida sa Alaga movement in order to fulfill this noble purpose.

Marian is a mother who demonstrates love in the most organic, commonplace ways; she is more than just a famous person.  Her times with Sixto are full of alaga, which is precisely what this movement is about, whether they are spent playing or cuddling quietly before bed.

Be Part of the Movement

We all have stories of alaga from a parent, a lola, a tita, or even from ourselves. Maybe it’s how you prepare your child’s bath, or how you stay up just to say, “Ingat sa byahe ha.” These moments make families stronger, closer, and more whole. This year, we invite you to share your own #BidaSaAlaga story.

Because sometimes, it’s the simplest gestures that carry the biggest love.
