The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) has long celebrated books, ideas, and inventiveness. This year, C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions (C&E ALS) grabbed center stage with their creative "C&E ALS University" booth, a visually stunning and extremely interactive showcase that blended tradition and technology, to illustrate how education is evolving in the Philippines.
A Booth that Captured Attention
The "Campus of the Future" at the SMX Convention Center was distinguished by its unique design, which featured curved walls that symbolized adaptability, green strips that echoed the vibrancy of university life, and futuristic archways that greeted visitors as they entered a space where the past and the future met. From the outside, the booth symbolized something different: a sneak peek at what future campuses, libraries, and classrooms might look and feel like.
Honoring Tradition, Driving Innovation
C&E ALS showcased all of its products in the booth to position itself as a comprehensive education partner for educational institutions. Among these were: Print and Digital Content from C&E Publishing and globally renowned partners like McGraw Hill, Elsevier, Sage, Pearson, Cengage, and Wiley; Library and Learning Platforms, such as Canvas LMS, which C&E ALS distributes in the Philippines; STEAM and Makerspace Tools for all levels, which are meant to foster students' creativity and innovation; AI-Powered Solutions that allow teachers to deliver their courses more quickly and accurately; and Technology Collaborations with top companies like Samsung and Britannica, which further reaffirm the company's commitment to providing tools that are prepared for the future.
This holistic presentation showed that for C&E ALS, innovation and tradition are not opposing forces but partners in shaping tomorrow’s classrooms.

“Our vision was to create more than a booth. We wanted to give educators, students, and partners a real experience of what the future of learning looks like, one where books, digital solutions, AI, and hands-on tools all come together. Seeing so many educators and students actively engage with our solutions tells us we are on the right path. It validates our mission to make education more adaptive, inclusive, and future-ready. At MIBF 2025, we showed how education is both about shaping the future and honoring tradition. After the fair, our focus is to keep driving innovation that empowers educators and inspires learners nationwide.” ~John Emyl G. Eugenio, COO of C&E ALS
A Hub of Engagement and Discovery
The booth was not only visually appealing, but it also became a hive of activity. Thousands of visitors, ranging from parents and children to educators and librarians, explored different zones, found creative solutions, and won quick prizes in interactive experiences like the Course Card Passport Challenge.
Teachers used AI systems for lesson preparation, librarians discovered ways to streamline resource management, while students played with STEAM kits. This made the area feel more like a live campus than an exposition booth.
Spotlight on Generative AI
One of the highlights of C&E ALS's participation was the Generative AI in Education session, which was led by Engr. The director of Mapúa University's Office of Digital Education, Learning Technologies, and Analytics is Ericson Dimaunahan.
Teachers eager to learn how AI may improve efficiency, personalize learning, and raise the standard of instruction attended the September 11, 2025, session at the SMX Convention Center.
“Education has always been shaped by the tools of its time. Our task as decision makers is not just to keep pace, but to set direction.” ~Ronald Laovinia, C&E ALS Representative
The event was well received by attendees, many of whom expressed excitement about using AI-powered solutions in their instruction. In addition to showcasing tools, it highlighted C&E ALS's mission to spearhead the conversation about how innovative technologies could transform education in the Philippines.

Looking Beyond MIBF
