The nation's leading motorcycle manufacturer, Honda Philippines, Inc., hosted the PCXceptional Ride on August 29, 2025, so that moto vloggers and media representatives could personally witness the All-New PCX160's exceptional comfort and performance.
The event's goal was to provide representatives an opportunity to test out the scooter's amazing comfort, innovative features, and enhanced performance. More importantly, it showed off the All-New PCX160's capabilities on the open road.
The trip started at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Parañaque City and traveled to Café Cecilia in Tanay, Rizal, featuring both the Standard and RoadSync versions of Honda's latest premium scooter, the PCX160. Tanay's picturesque routes, which offer the ideal combination of cycling in the city, uphill, and rural, were explored by the riders.
Elevated performance, control, and ride quality in a stylish package
On the winding roads between Parañaque and Tanay, the performance of the All-New PCX160 was a highlight for riders. Its 157cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC (Single Overhead Cam), Liquid-Cooled, ESP+ engine produced 11.8 kW of power at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, which was more than enough to manage the journey. It was also a great companion for the long voyage because of its remarkable 46 km/L fuel efficiency. The roomy foot region also makes the trip more comfortable for them.
Because of the sophisticated safety features of the RoadSync type, participants felt secure and in control. Participants felt the increased braking stability offered by the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to be beneficial, particularly in damp weather. With its easy keyless operation and anti-theft immobilizer, the Honda Smart Key System was a well-liked feature. The integrated USB Type-C charger was valued for its quick charging speed and contemporary compatibility, which kept gadgets charged during the journey. The roomy 30-liter luggage box, which offered safe and weatherproof storage for their belongings, was another useful addition.
The integrated technology was especially well-liked by riders on the RoadSync type. They made the most of the Honda RoadSync system, which gave them access to music, calls, texts, and turn-by-turn navigation when synced with a smartphone.
