The Philippines will be represented in the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2025 World Finals, which will be held from October 11 to 12 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, by Cebuana street dancer Sam Rivera, who is also referred to as "Nemesis" in combat. After a tough battle, Rivera emerged victorious from the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals in May of last year.
The World Stage Awaits
After months of fierce dance battles throughout the globe, the best dancers in the world are converging in Los Angeles for the ultimate one-on-one freestyle competition. The unique maneuvers, cultural influences, and pure improvisational talents of champions from over 50 countries will create a tournament that is as surprising as it is exciting.
Filipinos can compete on the biggest worldwide street dancing stage, as evidenced by Nemesis from the Philippines, who is more than ready to take on the world's top dancers.
Training for the Battle
After competing as a Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finalist in 2024, Nemesis made a spectacular return this year, taking home the title at the 2025 National Finals in her hometown of Cebu. Since that momentous triumph, Nemesis has been training for the spotlight, perfecting her stage presence, endurance, and Krump freestyle.
Countdown to the Finals in LA
The Red Bull Dance Your Style World Finals will bring together the best street dancers from around the globe during World Finals Week, which takes place from October 7 to October 11. On October 11 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, the major World Finals competition will feature freestyle battles between dancers, with the added twist that the public will select the winner. Red Bull TV will cover the action live on October 11 at 9 PM (PDT) or October 12 at 12 PM (Philippine time).
With global champions, rising stars, and local heroes in the mix, the competition promises to be an explosive display of creativity and artistry. Only one dancer will walk away as the 2025 Red Bull Dance Your Style World Champion.
