McDonald's Drive-Thru Challenge: Beat the 2-Minute Drive-Thru Timer

“Through the 2-Minute Drive-Thru Challenge, we want our customers to see and feel the improvements we’ve made in speed and service, without compromising the food quality they’ve come to expect from McDonald’s.” ~Ada Lazaro, McDonald’s Philippines Chief Marketing Officer

McDonald's drive-through speed is being tested with the 2-Minute Drive-Thru Challenge, which is now held daily at all McDonald's Drive-Thru locations nationwide.

The 2-Minute Drive-Thru Challenge lets customers experience firsthand the speed and reliability of McDonald's service with the thrill of a ticking timer and a special surprise for those who wait a little longer.

Following the completion of their orders and payment at Window 1, customers are given a timer that is set for exactly two minutes.   As they proceed to Window 2, the countdown begins.   If their complete order is provided before the timer goes off, they will feel the joy of efficiency and quickness.   If it takes more than two minutes, they will receive a coupon for a free McCafé Iced Coffee Original to use on their next visit.

Previously exclusively available on Mondays, this worldwide deal is now open Monday through Sunday until October 31, 2025, starting at 6 a.m.  until 9 p.m., demonstrating McDonald's commitment to enhancing convenience and giving patrons a faultless Drive-Thru experience.

Regardless of whether the McDonald's staff beats the 2-minute challenge or you receive a complimentary McCafé treat, the 2-Minute Drive-Thru Challenge ensures that every day at McDonald's Drive-Thru is a triumph for customers.

You can challenge yourself at the nearest McDonald's drive-through and see how fast your favorites can be supplied.
