| INAX showroom at PHILBEX Iloilo |
Some of the country's top designers and architects recently gathered at the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City for the first regional leg of Philippine Building and Construction Expo (PHILBEX) to explore the latest innovations and technologies in design and construction.
Among the more than 130 booths on exhibit at PHILBEX, one of the largest and most anticipated events for architects and designers in the Philippines, were INAX, the leading sanitary ware brand in Japan, and its partner dealer Moostbrand Home Depot.
Hundreds of enthusiastic visitors flocked to the INAX interactive booth throughout the three-day expo to view the impressive Japanese bathroom innovations on exhibit.
In the limelight alongside INAX bathroom collections is its electronic bidet technology, a noteworthy feature of its shower toilets that incorporates a side panel remote to control various toilet functions, such as water temperature and volume for dual nozzles and flushing. The guests were amazed by features like the heated seat, hot water storage type, and antibacterial components for the panel, nozzle, cover, and seat.
Visitors were also given a preview of another INAX invention during the event: the Hyperkilamic Technology (INAX Surface Coating), which puts a silver nanolayer to toilets' ceramic surfaces to discourage bacteria and stop dirt accumulation. Its zircon content, a mineral that adds brightness and durability, keeps the glassy surface smooth and stain- and abrasion-resistant. The Hyperkilamic Technology's silver ion and long-lasting finish, which assist maintain sanitary surfaces and support long-lasting product appearance, decrease cleaning effort and have earned certification under the Japanese Industrial Standards for antibacterial performance.
Along with advancements in toilets, INAX unveiled CerafineTM technology, designed to enhance the look and functionality of washbasins. The CerafineTM, which embodies the brand's strength and elegant simplicity, is made from specially formulated clay to keep its ultra-thin edges and graceful form. It is inspired by ancient Japanese motifs.
Popular INAX products that highlight these technologies are the focal point of the exhibit, the S Series Collections. The S600 Line, which includes bathtubs, sinks, showers, and faucets, is the first in a series of ingeniously designed goods that mimic works of art. It combines modern innovations with Japanese spatial aesthetics.

Meanwhile, the S200 Line offers a wide range of trustworthy and thoughtfully designed bathroom solutions for compact spaces. The Maxi-Compact bathroom, part of the S220 Line, was designed for the urban lifestyle and achieves the ideal combination of space, style, and functionality in compact bathrooms.
The exhibition concludes with the S100 Line, a Smart-Basic bathroom line perfect for small spaces. The designs of all the bathroom products are durable, easy to use, reasonably priced, and practical.

About INAX
INAX is a Japanese brand that manufactures innovative sanitary ware and artistic ceramic tiles. The history of INAX can be traced back over 100 years when our forefathers worked on producing the tiles for the second main building of the Imperial Hotel designed by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. By determining the properties of clay and the impact of fire, through numerous trials, we succeeded in the large-scale production of decorative tiles, which became the foundation of INAX. Since then, we have continuously pursued to deliver products for new and better living, engaging in challenging innovations including the first made-in-Japan shower toilet, self-powered hands-free faucet, and interior tiles that freshen the air in the room. Meanwhile, we cultivated our skills to produce tiles that offer sophisticated expressions through delicate coloring and texture, gaining inspiration from Japanese tradition, culture, and the seasonal changes of nature. Our expressive and technical ability became visible through the tiles of the restored exterior tiles of St. Francesco’s church (built in 1963), designed by Italian architect, Gio Ponti. The installation was completed in 2008.
INAX creates beautiful, innovative bathrooms from Japan that make everyday life easier, healthier, and more enjoyable, enabling everyone to live well. www.inax.com.
