Palawan Group of Companies Honors 2025 Graduates from its Scholarship Program; First Ever Summa Cum Laude Coincides with its 40th Year

In a heartfelt celebration of achievement and promise, the Palawan Group of Companies recently recognized the 2025 graduates of the Palawan Group of Companies Scholarship Program (PGC-SP).  This further illustrates its unwavering commitment to education as a key component of its CSR (corporate social responsibility) programs.

The Thanksgiving feast was attended by graduates from several universities, their proud families, and Palawan Group staff members who have supported the scholars throughout their academic careers by serving as mentors, kuyas, and ates.  Moving testimony featured tales of aspiration, resiliency, and the transformational potential of education.

This year's event is even more significant because it commemorates the company's 40th anniversary and has a historic first: Mae Kyla Tabla, PGC-SP's first Summa Cum Laude, earned a BSBA in Financial Management from Palawan State University. For the Palawan Group of Companies, CSR means more than just business.  The Palawan Group of Companies Scholarship Program has produced 778 alumni since its establishment in 1998, many of whom are now licensed public accountants, engineers, educators, and entrepreneurs.  Many others have joined the Palawan Group in an attempt to serve more Sukis nationwide.
