BENCH Techs-up with UnionBank

"We believe that the use of QRPH in our offline stores should bring many benefits and convenience to our customers. We want to thank UnionBank for this initiative in tapping us as a partner." ~Bryan Lim, Vice President for Business Development Group of BENCH

Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) and Suyen Corporation (BENCH Group) have formed a partnership to assist the leading clothing and lifestyle brand in digitizing payments in its more than 800 nationwide brick-and-mortar and affiliate stores. This will make transactions for the company's customers simpler and more convenient.

The agreement marking service among UnionBank and Seat occurred last November 14 at the UnionBank Square in Pasig City.

To assist Seat with digitizing its exchanges, UnionBank will produce in-store QRPH codes that will act as extra installment channels for customers. They won't have to worry about loose change when they pay for their purchases because of this. They will also save time by not having to use cash they already have or wait in line to withdraw cash from an ATM.

"This great milestone promises to trailblaze the way we do our business in our respective fields and keep up with the changing needs of our customers. This is a valuable opportunity to ensure that our customers will have a more enjoyable way of shopping." ~Gerry Austria, UnionBank Merchant Acquiring and Payment Gateway Head

Customers can pay for their purchases digitally without having to worry about using services or apps they are unfamiliar with because the partnership makes use of QRPH's extensive list of accepted payment providers through partner banks and well-known digital wallets. Instead, they can select those that they are already using.
