EXPLORE PHILIPPINES MAGAZINE A digital photo and video gallery.

Traveling the Philippines one page at a time.

November 15, 2016 in a rainy afternoon happened the Explore Philippines Magazine media launch at the Mango Tree Manila.

I do admit that travelling is one of my passion that if i get the chance to travel the Philippines I would, but of course i'll be needing some budget for that to do so.

But one of the best way and at the same time to be guided on your next travel is not just by searching via internet or hersay of others but via magazines.

Introducing is Explore Philippines Magazine not just a travel magazine alone but with food trips, and travel photography that would make you envision your next trip.
With AG Saño paints his way with us as he will be talking about how his passion drives his life to his advocacy on marine conservation.

This November, Explore Philippines celebrates its second year anniversary with Travel Spread: Traveling the Philippines One Page at a Time. Explore Philippines Magazine invites you to join the event from November 25-26, 2016 at the Event Center, 4th Floor, Century City Mall, Makati. Travel Spread will be filled with interactive exhibits from event partners Merrell and Oculus Archery, Travel Talks, and a food park. Guest speakers are travel photographer Angelo Mendoza, tech entrepreneur April Cuenca, travel and food writer Paul Catiang, artivist AG Saño, hotel owner and eco-activist Raf Dioniso, and the Explore Philippines team. Get to know the team behind Explore Philippines and be part of an event that enriches our local travel community. Admission is free for the interactive exhibit and all Travel Talks.

Technology has opened up new ways for Filipinos to travel. This generation has tapped social media, websites, apps, and live events to learn more about previously unknown local destinations, each holding great promise of dreamlike tropical landscapes and rich cultures. It’s an exciting time for travel in our own backyard. Beyond the gloss of posting photos on our feeds and sharing travel itineraries is an enthusiasm to see more of what the country has to offer - sights, food, history, and culture.
In this spirit, the team behind Explore Philippines presents a quarterly ode to our islands. Explore Philippines Magazine welcomes a new era of print with a deeper look into developing travel trends and the inspiring people leading the way, and fresh eyes on hidden gems and forgotten communities. The high quality 160-page collectible issues are thoughtfully designed and aim to spur ideas and conversations about enhancing the way we explore, sustainability for our islands, and the future of local travel.
With April Cuenca

Explore Philippines Magazine’s editorial sections are carefully crafted and packed with beautiful photos and thought-provoking articles. Joined by a guest Explorer for every issue, the team delves into the very heart and soul of the issue’s foremost features, from the main destination, to accommodations, locals, and delicacies in First Class. Past guest Explorers include notable journalist Atom Araullo, globetrotting couple Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones, and celebrity hosts Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez.

With the same focus on the local scene, Main Course is the magazine’s prized food series that stars three culinary standouts celebrated by a common theme. In Now Boarding, we explore what’s hot, hip, and happening in the world of seasonal spots and scene-stealers. Checklist is a rundown of the best and brightest in local tourism. Every latest travel trend has a story to follow, and we dive deeper into each one in Pulse. Bringing the focus back to individuals, Disruptor is a look into a modern hustler’s life on the move. Jetsetter is our go-to travel guide from your favorite Pinoy tourists, and Pilot is an intimate one-on-one with the leaders, movers and shakers, and trailblazers in the industry.

A newly added section, Roots is dedicated to the faces and places that helped build a community’s identity. Rounding out the list are Recreation,
our sports and outdoor adventure special, and Detour, which takes us beyond leisure traveling and delves into traveling with a deeper purpose.

The anniversary issue of Explore Philippines Magazine will be available at select stockists and bookstores nationwide. Order the latest issue online with free delivery at www.livetoexplore.ph. Annual subscriptions are available.

HAPPY PASTA DAY FROM AL DENTE

"Celebrating World Pasta Month with Dona Elena Al Dente Pasta!"

Christmas is just around the corner already, from the cold breeze in the morning and from the colorful Christmas lights and Christmas decors from different malls.

I am most excited with what to serve on Noche Buena for my family and one of my family's favorite handa is no other than spaghetti and macaroni salad.
Pasta has played a major role in Filipinos’ lives, from being part of our daily meals to a popular choice for various events and gatherings. October marks a special month for Filipino Pasta lovers as we join the world in celebrating the World Pasta Month worldwide.

Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta, the only Artisan Quality Italian Pasta brand in the country, has been pioneering this gastronomic celebration for three years now. This year, the National Pasta Month celebration highlights an exciting challenge among Mercato Centrale food vendors as they participate in the Doña Elena Al Dente Ultimate Pasta Challenge where they featured their originally crafted meal combinations of their specialty dishes and Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta.

All food enthusiasts were able to witness an epic and pasta-licious culinary cook-off last October 14, at the Mercato Centrale, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Pasta connoisseurs were invited to purchase a Pasta Passport for a minimal purchase of Php100. The passport served as their exclusive pass to enjoy free Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta products and appreciate the entertainment band and program hosted by the radio and TV host, Jamie Fournier

Passport holders of the event were also able to taste and vote for the best pasta dish from the eight pasta-licious dish entries of the Ultimate Pasta Challenge participants and five beautifully designed pasta artwork from the Pasta Art competition.
“This culinary gathering highlights the universal love for pasta. We aim to bring more people to appreciate pasta and into recognizing how this dish has been part of our lives. It also allows us to present to our Filipino consumers a variety of dishes that they can enjoy Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta with. We will continue bringing them great-tasting authentic Italian pasta,” ~Rachelle Chang, Product Associate.

Made with 100% durum wheat semolina, Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta is crafted with bronze dies which leave rough ridges on the pasta, helping sauces cling better thus making it more flavorful. It is available in five variants – Fusilli, Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Penne Rigate, and Lasagna.
“Doña Elena Al Dente Pasta and Fly Ace Corporation, together with our event partners, are extremely honored to initiate celebrating Pasta Month in the country. And now, on our third year, we continue our vision to bring not just great-tasting pasta but the world’s best food and beverages to Filipino households,” ~Ramon Daez, Fly Ace Corporation General Manager
