Using Skin Poem Hydrating and Brightening Mist this summer, give your skin a little bit of goodness!

This summer's humidity and muggy air make it necessary to seek for something cool. Drinking lots of water is a good rule of thumb, but what else can we do to combat the oppressive heat of the season?  When we go outside, our skin will be the part of us that feels the heat the most. Our skin during the summer is susceptible to irritation and pain in addition to being sweaty. The good news is that I have just discovered the ideal hydrating mist that is suitable for all skin types. In addition, this moisturizing and brightening mist from Skin Poem also has a cooling effect that will undoubtedly bring a dash of goodness to your complexion this summer.

Before we dive into the good effect of this product, allow me to commend its packaging. At first, I thought the packaging is just like a typical bottle of mists that I already tried before that’s made out of plastic. But this hydrating and brightening mist was made out of black tinted glass, so aside from being sustainable, the tinted glass bottle also protects the product’s ingredients from the sun damage.

What I liked too about the packaging is the poetry that’s included. As someone who has an interest in beauty and skincare all my life, I am used to seeing products that have only ingredients lists, and the instructions written on them. Malnutrition continues to become alarming in the Philippines, especially among marginalized indigenous groups. 30% of Filipino children face chronic malnutrition due to unequal access to nutritious food, resulting in cognitive delays and long-term health consequences.

With a goal to aid in alleviating malnutrition, multi-national restaurant chain Subway® launched its #SubwayGivesPack campaign in partnership with Mayani, the fastest-growing farm-to-table platform in the Philippines.

The campaign aims to provide Mayani’s Aeta farmers community in Zambales with 200 nutrition packs containing healthy food items, such as fresh vegetables. These will give them better access to proper nutrition and improve their well-being, especially the undernourished children.

In San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, the new Healthway Qualimed Hospital San Jose del Monte brand was introduced by Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. (AC Health). This event comes after the unveiling of the Healthway QualiMed Hospital Santa Rosa signage signaling the launch of Healthway Medical Network (HMN).
