SALU, THE FILIPINO RESTAURANT 1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY - MASARAP MABUHAY SA PINAS

"We are grateful to be chosen by DOT-ARMM headed by Mrs. Ayesha Mangudadatu Dilangalen, to represent their region at the prestigious Madrid Fusion. We have built this brand to be the culinary authority when it comes to all things Filipino. And being chosen to participate in such convention was an affirmation that indeed, we somehow are in the right path of meeting our mission. Hopefully on our second year, we can serve more authentic plates and continue to be a portal for all guests to discover all the flavors of this country, especially those that are still undiscovered." ~Mrs. Harlene Bautista

In celebration of it's first year anniversary SALU, the Filipino Restaurant celebrated last June 9, 2017 at Scout Fernandez cor Scout Torillom Brgy. Sacred Heart Quezon City. Selebrasyon ng isang taon ng puno ng kasiyahan at pagsubok.

I remember back in the 80's when That's Entertainment was one of the most viewed TV program during my teenage years, a show full of entertainment and celebrity i grew up watching with not just in TV but most importantly in movies. The couple who firs meet and part of That's Entertainment.

SALU, the Filipino Restaurant owned by the celebrity couple, Romeo Nicolas Sarmenta Tejedor (born April 28, 1972 in Quezon City, Philippines), better known by his screen name Romnick Sarmenta, is a Filipino actor. He is best remembered as the five-year-old boy who played the role of Peping in the TV series Gulong ng Palad. He is an avid cyclist. He is an active member of Elim Communities where he serves and is actively involved in missionary works of the community. Sarmenta is currently married to actress Harlene Bautista a former child star, film and television actress, film producer and businesswoman in the Philippines. She is the sister of actors Herbert Bautista (served as Mayor of Quezon City) and Hero Bautista. Romnick and Harlene have five children.

Celebrity couple Romnick and Harlene, opened its door to hungry Manilenos to provide authentic treats from different parts of Philippines. After providing authentic and delicious menu from different regions of the Philippines they have a lot more new delectable and unique surprises for the customers who deserves more when it comes to Pinoy food trip.
To give thanks to all Ka-Salu/s who have dined and craved for the best of Salu plates this past year, a lot of millennial customers will surely enjoy dining it at Salu with their family and friend with a blockbuster promo of buy 1 tke 1 of their famous "BLK" (Binagoongang Lechon Kare-kare). A piso for Brazo de Kalabasa shall also be enjoyed by the first 100 guests for every purchase of Php 500.00 on June 11, 2017.
"Masarap at nakakataba ng puso ang aming unang taon. So we thought, why not give thanks and extend to our customers those blessings that we earned because of their trust through these simple promos. These two dishes, BLK and Brazo De Kalabasa, are our top moving dish and desert on our first year. So its fitting to grant a 'one' of a kind treat with buy 'one' take 'one' and a 'one' peso dessert, as we turn 'one'." ~Romnick Sarmenta
