I am one of those who admires those survivors of breast cancer. I had once taken good care of an aunt who went thru the survival journey, my uncle's wife Mrs. Teresa Castillo Caritativo. Its been about 6 years since she passed away battling breast cancer, I went thru her pain and sorrow during those days for almost 3 months I am the one who looks after her because my uncle is working abroad. It wasn't easy just the mere fact of looking at her brings pain and tears to my heart but I did not show her that because I need to be strong to make her strong. Just the thought of my 3 cousins losing their mother at an early age is already such a hard thing to accept. But faith wasn't good enough no matter how we wanted her to survive still god has the power to make her stay with us or to stay with him. It was such a memorable experience of my life and that made me love those whose going through Breast Cancer.

It's Pink October once again at Festival Mall. With an alarming of 34.9 % of breast cancer patients being diagnosed only at the late stages of the illness, there is an apparent need for more education on the symptoms and treatment of breast cancer.

Festival Mall steps up its annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign called Pink October to help promote early diagnosis and aid in the treatment of breast cancer with "Stronger in Pink".

This year's theme for the said award-winning campaign Stronger in Pink believes that with unity, women re stronger in life, in health, and, most especially, in heart and mind.

The whole month of October, Stronger in Pink opened at the Festival Mall Expansion Wing, gathering various advocate groups that proudly wave the pink flag high.

The month-long campaign will be featuring various activities including:
