The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Dunkin' are making routine purchases more convenient and satisfying by allowing customers to take advantage of special offers and pay with ease using QR Ph through a temporary VYBE promotion.

By utilizing VYBE's QR Ph payment feature at participating Dunkin' locations, customers can benefit from a quicker, simpler, and cashless payment process, making their favorite treats even more accessible.

In celebration of BPI's 175th anniversary, VYBE patrons can enjoy a unique Dunkin' treat at participating locations across Metro Manila and Luzon. Customers can purchase a box of six Premium Donuts for just P175 until August 31 if they pay via QR Ph using the VYBE app in celebration of the Bank of the Philippine Islands' 175th anniversary. A bonus of 100 BPI Rewards Points will be given to customers who successfully complete a transaction.

Excellent value, valuable benefits, and the convenience of quick, simple cashless payments via VYBE are all combined in this limited-time anniversary offer, which is available at even more participating locations.

BPI and Dunkin' first partnered in August 2025 to offer two free Premium Donuts to VYBE customers who spent at least P150. Consumers immediately responded well to the collaboration, and a free Large Iced Coffee offer ensued. Due to strong demand as shown by social media engagement and in-store feedback, the free two Premium Donuts promotion was later reinstated, enabling more customers to benefit from the cherished reward. Most recently, VYBE users received eight-piece Premium Munchkins at no cost. These successful campaigns have strengthened the relationship between VYBE and Dunkin'.

The partnership reflects BPI's broader commitment to making digital payments more rewarding and accessible by continuously growing VYBE's network of partner brands across food, retail, lifestyle, and other everyday categories.

“Reimagining the BPI Debit Mastercard to become an eco-friendly card is a testament to BPI’s commitment to its values of sustainability and innovation. At BPI, we want to connect more with our eco-conscious clients while also encouraging others to practice sustainable habits. BPI launches its new Debit Mastercard made from 100% recycled, PVC free plastic—promoting more sustainable everyday banking.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has launched a new Debit Mastercard that is completely composed of recycled, PVC-free plastic in an attempt to encourage more ecologically friendly banking solutions.

The new Debit Mastercard is free for both new customers who open an account through a BPI branch and existing customers whose cards need to be updated or are about to expire. Customers who wish to convert to the new recycled, PVC-free card outside of their renewal schedule can do so for a standard replacement fee of Php 200.

BPI is one of the leading debit card issuers in the country, with over 8.2 million cardholders nationwide. With the launch of the new eco-friendly BPI Debit Mastercard, the bank's efforts to provide Filipinos more responsible and future-ready financial products have hit yet another noteworthy milestone.

Customers can choose their preferred branch for pickup after requesting a new card online or using the BPI app. There is a fee of Php 200 for each card request made via these digital channels. To start the replacement process, those who are replacing an existing card simply need to block their current one via the BPI app. Depending on the location, cards can be picked up at any BPI branch in two to six banking days. Additionally, clients can receive help at any of our branches.

Beyond sustainability, the card features thoughtful design enhancements like a curved notch in the bottom left corner that increases accessibility and sets it apart from other cards by making it easier for users to identify and orient their card by touch.

BPI Debit Mastercard holders can still benefit from contactless transactions, safe online, in-store, and international payments, easy access to cash via ATMs worldwide, and 24/7 account management through the BPI app with the new card.

Through innovations like the eco-friendly Debit Mastercard, BPI continues to support sustainability while offering Filipinos practical, inclusive, and accessible financial products.

BPI champions sustainability, launches electric vehicle for employees

“In BPI, we believe that the first step to building a sustainable future is by starting within ourselves, within the organization. We are excited to roll out a more environment-friendly and sustainable shuttle service for our employees. This forms part of our mission to help build a better Philippines—one family, one community at a time.” ~TG Limcaoco, BPI President and CEO
BPI President and CEO TG Limcaoco and GET President Freddie Tinga (center) launched the electric vehicle service for BPI employees. With them are (from left): Severino Sumulong, GET Director of Legal Services; Frankie Endriga, GET Chief Operating Officer; Anthony Dy, GET Managing Director; Jaime Zobel Urquijo, BPI Director and Ayala Corporation Chief Sustainability and Risk Officer; Eugenio Mercado, BPI Head of Enterprise Operations; and Carlo Poblete, BPI Head of Facilities Services and Management.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has leased a new electric vehicle (EV) unit in a bid to gradually replace its old gas-powered fleet vehicles and curtail its greenhouse gas emissions and fuel consumption.

BPI has partnered with Global Electric Transportation (GET), a provider of EVs that use fast-charging lithium-ion batteries, to supply its new EV unit that will be used to provide free shuttle services for its employees travelling between BPI Buendia Center and MRT Buendia Station.

The EV could potentially reduce the Bank’s diesel consumption by 30,000 liters per year, which in turn will reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 40,000 kilograms of CO2 per year.

“We are glad to see that more companies are pushing for the use of EVs and starting to realize its positive impact not only on the environment but also on their bottom line. We are happy to partner with BPI and support their sustainability initiatives through our sustainable transport solutions.” ~Freddie Tinga, GET President

The EV features a wider body and plenty of passenger room for 30 people compared with traditional shuttles that can only accommodate and ferry up to 15 passengers at a time.

The electric vehicle will provide free shuttle service to BPI employees commuting to and from MRT Buendia Station and BPI Buendia Center. Soon, it will add another stop at One Ayala Terminal.

In terms of social inclusivity, the EV has a wheelchair ramp that allows persons with disabilities (PWDs) to easily board and alight the vehicle. The ramp also allows easier boarding for people carrying bikes and other wheeled items.

The EV also harnesses an intelligent fleet management system, with features such as GPS tracking, route optimization, and maintenance alert which can be accessed through the GETPASS App.

BPI and GET executives host an inaugural ride of the electric vehicle.

The initiative mirrors BPI’s commitment to sustainability and continuous efforts to cultivate and entrench a sustainability mindset within the organization.

In 2023, BPI won 14 ESG-focused awards from foreign and Philippine award-giving bodies, including Finance Asia, Global Finance, The Asset, and Asiamoney. In 2022, the Bank also won 10 sustainability-themed awards.

Inauguration of BPI’s Flagship Branch in Shangri-la Plaza Mall

“This new flagship branch, like similar ones in Metro Manila, represents how technology and brick and mortar can be combined to enhance the customer experience.  Today’s Filipino customer wants and deserves more, and a modern branch like this one is one way that we can respond.” ~Cezar P. Consing, President and CEO

The new flagship branch follows the design of BPI’s other flagship branches in Ayala Insular and Makati Stock Exchange. BPI Shangri-la Shaw showcases the most modern and innovative designs that will complement the Bank’s aim to provide trusted financial advice, and seamless and convenient client experience.

“The two-floor multi-purpose events venue located in the branch’s Preferred Center is what makes BPI Shangri-la Shaw unique compared to the other flagship branches. Digitalization is about enhancing the client experience. This requires that we make the experience of our clients seamless as they move from physical branches to our digital channels, such as the mobile app and website. Our digital transformation journey allows for an omni-channel experience, with clients being able to start a transaction in one channel, and complete it in another. ~Rally Jereza, Division Head for Northern Metro Manila Branches

Shangri-la Plaza is a prime spot located in the heart of Mandaluyong and Ortigas, which is why it was chosen as the location of Northern Metro Manila’s first and biggest flagship branch. Mandaluyong and Ortigas are two of the biggest central business districts in the country. The St. Francis Shaw branch was relocated and named BPI Shangri-la Shaw when the site of the old branch was sold to Shangri-la.

  • Enhanced customer experience
BPI Shangri-la Shaw houses the first multi-purpose Preferred Center, a venue for client engagement activities with facilities that enhance the experience and deliver convenience and value to clients.

With this latest branch feature, BPI reinforces its commitment to enhancing overall customer experience, both online and offline by providing easy access to relevant financial solutions for every Filipino.
