On May 5, 2026, the AMA School of Medicine (AMASOM) demonstrated this commitment once more by actively participating in the most recent phase of First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos' premier healthcare program, "Lab for All" (LFA), which was held at Camp Crame.

First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos, who is well-known for her modest commitment to public service and compassionate leadership, continues to support initiatives that prioritize the welfare of ordinary Filipinos. Through Lab for All, the First Lady has assisted in bringing vital healthcare services closer to communities, particularly for individuals and families who might not have easy access to medical care and laboratory testing.

The First Lady's goal of increasing access to healthcare has led to increased collaboration between government agencies, hospitals, medical professionals, and volunteers—all of whom are striving to provide care for the Filipino people. Lab for All began as a nationwide medical outreach initiative and has grown to represent her sincere commitment to inclusive healthcare, community development, and human dignity.

Under the direction and leadership of First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos, the project continues to improve people's lives across the country by promoting compassion, service, and genuine concern for the well-being of every Filipino. Approximately 1,500 Philippine National Police members and their families received vital laboratory and medical services from AMASOM, which is currently on its seventh deployment under the Lab for All initiative. These individuals commit their lives to protecting the public, often putting others' welfare ahead of their own. Through initiatives like this, AMA recognizes the importance of giving back to people who continuously serve the nation.

The AMA delegation was led by Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V, Chairman Emeritus, Founder of the AMA Education System, and Father of IT Education in the Philippines. His involvement showed how closely the business adheres to national public service and healthcare initiatives. His meetings with First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos and other government officials revealed a shared commitment to improving healthcare accessible and ensuring that the most vulnerable areas receive high-quality medical services.

A Collective Effort for Public Service

The Public Attorney's Office, the Department of Health, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, PhilHealth, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Department of Agriculture were among the government agencies and organizations that gathered for the event, creating a collaborative environment centered on nationbuilding, wellness, and service.

The curriculum stressed the need of empathy and interpersonal interactions in addition to offering medical care. Throughout the celebration, the AMASOM team's birthday tribute to Department of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa was a heartwarming moment. It was a simple yet poignant move that showed the warmth and compassion that underpin the organization's service-oriented attitude.
