Global-Link MP Unveils Virtual Trade Shows 2020

“The events industry is going to continue to change for the months and years to come. While we hope for things to go back to normal, we know we have to continue serving the needs of our clients, our exhibitors, and the people who join trade shows to generate business. VX Events is our answer to that. We’re leveraging on our experience as trade event organizers and using technology to continue doing that in a digital space.” ~Patrick-Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP

In this time of Pandemic that has been going for 4 months now, we really need to move forward and continue with our lives. For many event organizers, virtual events present a new opportunity for overstepping the hurdles of social distancing and engaging audiences around the world. Virtual Press Conferences and Gathering of Events may be the "New Trends" when it comes to conducting events and trade shows in the Philippines.

Global-Link MP Events International, Inc. today announced the launch of its newest platform by VX Events, where four of its trade events will hold virtual editions starting October this year. The events are entitled Pack Print Plas Philippines VX (October 8 to 14), Hotel Suppliers Show VX (October 15 to 21), Beauty & Wellness Manila VX (October 22 to 28), and PHILCONSTRUCT VX (November 5 to 11).

It's an alternative solution for physical events, businesses need to continue, sellers need to meet buyers so if they cannot do it physically there is no other alternative choice but to do it virtually the normal for virtual trade shows.

Gone are the days wherein you have to brave the traffic to go to the trade hall, you have to fly thousands of miles just to be at the Philippine this time it's borderless you don't the only market to the Philippines ou actually market to the world.

There's a change in business behavior, in the past traditional marketing, like face-to-face marketing, retailing, live product demos, and showroom visits are done but now clients give three times more important to the digital way of doing business. 58% of shoppers expect to order more online in the coming months. So the virtual trade show is here to stay.

Data Analytics, gone are the days wherein exhibitors summarize who they met at the show, who visited their booth, how many people came, what were the files given. Now at a click of the button, all exhibitors will be able to find out all of the data immediately right after the show.

Easy to Navigate, have an easy time navigating through the entire flatform.

It's what the market wants and needs right now.

The announcement was made through an interactive virtual press conference attended by notable personalities from the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The press conference also featured an impressive walkthrough of what to expect in the upcoming virtual events.

Attendees can engage and interact with your brand – in a variety of ways. With a 360 virtual reality booth tour, they can step into and tour the experience interactively. Viewers can discover, view, and engage with your brand’s physical exhibit online from any location at any time. It could be a simple, pre-planned walk-through or a completely interactive virtual experience. And just like a physical tradeshow exhibit experience, the virtual experience will be designed as a representation of a live experience, considering ways to guide interaction and exploration.

Global-Link MP made it clear that it will not be a replacement for physical, in-person events. In fact, Pack Print Plas Philippines and PHILCONSTRUCT are pushing through with their physical shows alongside the virtual editions.
“You really cannot compare physical events to virtual events. Both have their own sets of advantages. While going virtual is certainly not a Band-Aid solution for us, we are serious about developing this here in the Philippines. By putting up VX Events, we are replicating the advantages and business opportunities found in physical trade shows and delivering them in a virtual space, giving people alternatives.” ~Jing Lagandaon, COO
Global-Link MP has exclusive rights to use the platform in the Philippines and was, therefore, able to customize it further to fit the local market. Their technology partner is EventXtra, a developer that has served more than 3,000,000 guests and 10,000 events for companies and organizations including Amazon, Apple, International New York Times, Cisco, Siemens, HKTDC, and more.
