Caloocan LGU Opens Business One-Stop Shop at SM Center Sangandaan

Caloocan City Mayor Along Malapitan and SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President for Operations Ana T. Datu lead the ceremonial ribbon-cutting during the inauguration of the Caloocan Business One-Stop-Shop center at SM Center Sangandaan.

With the recent opening of the Caloocan Business One-Stop-Shop center at SM Center Sangandaan, the local government of Caloocan took a major step toward improving public services' accessibility and business-friendliness.

The recently opened center is intended to expedite business-related transactions and streamline the registration and compliance procedure for municipal business owners and entrepreneurs.

Business owners line up at the newly opened Caloocan Business One-Stop-Shop Center at SM Center Sangandaan to process permits, pay taxes, and access government services with greater convenience.

According to city officials, the mall-based facility will consolidate several government functions under one roof, providing residents with convenience and promoting regional economic development.  Business tax and real property tax payments, business permit renewals, new business registration, building application receipts, occupancy permit processing, zoning clearance processing, and payment of community tax certificates, or cedula, are some of the services currently offered at the mall-based facility.

With its newest satellite office at SM Center Sangandaan, Caloocan City reinforces its commitment to becoming a Business-Friendly City—offering easier, faster, and more accessible government services for entrepreneurs and residents alike.

SM Center Sangandaan, which is well situated in the center of North Caloocan's business district, was selected as the location to increase public access to government services, especially for the city's increasing number of business owners.

The opening of the business center is in line with the city's overarching objective of increasing public service efficiency and promoting ease of doing business, which is a crucial step in drawing in more capital and establishing more businesses in the city.
