A Christmas tradition of wonder: Ballet Manila’s Holiday Cheer Series returns with Snow White

“Holiday Cheer Series is our way of bringing people together through ballet. These productions are not only about artistry, but about using ballet to tell stories that parents and children can enjoy together, year after year.” ~Lisa Macuja Elizalde, Ballet Manila’s CEO and Artistic Director; and Snow White Choreographer

A festive tradition of ballet for all ages — celebrating love, resilience, and the joy of Christmas.

Ballet Manila has continued its cherished Holiday Cheer Series, a family-friendly show that has become a Christmas season classic, since 2022.  The enthralling and classic story of Snow White will be performed this year from December 25 to 29, 2025, at Pasay City's Aliw Theater.

Every year, the Holiday Cheer Series has made ballet a family-friendly event and accessible entertainment for all ages, according to Lisa Macuja Elizalde, the choreographer of Snow White and CEO and artistic director of Ballet Manila.

This year's "Snow White" features two alternating casts for the first time. Real-life couple Abigail Oliveiro and Mark Sumaylo bring their chemistry to the stage, while Nanami Hasegawa and Romeo Peralta offer a unique pairing that highlights the production's attitude of rebirth and exploration.

Together, they stand for the traits of love, resiliency, and hope that make Snow White the perfect holiday story.  From December 25 to 29, 2025, at 4 PM, Ballet Manila invites visitors to watch "Snow White" at Aliw Theater to incorporate ballet into their Christmas celebrations. The performances, vibrant plot, and fascinating choreography all perfectly capture the essence of the season.
