"A recently concluded travel survey revealed that major entertainment events–such as concerts–are one of the top considerations in shaping travel decisions for most Filipinos. This is our way of driving the growth of Bohol's local tourism by connecting more people to these events as we mark the third leg of our nationwide tourism campaign “AirAsia Fiesta Series” all while ensuring we continue to make travel accessible and affordable.” ~Capt. Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines President and CEO
As the official airline partner of the Provincial Government of Bohol for the Sandugo Festival 2025, AirAsia Philippines is once again achieving its goal of increasing domestic travel by providing visitors with incredible seat sales and thrilling fiesta events.
The Sandugo Festival is a yearly historical event in the Province of Bohol that honors the first covenant of goodwill between Spain and the Philippines, the "Sandugo," or blood compact, made in 1565 between Spanish explorer Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Bohol Chieftain Datu Sikatuna.
The best low-cost airline in the world is starting to sell seats to Tagbilaran for as little as PHP 376. During a 48-hour flash sale, more than 1.1 million seats will be made available for travel between August 8 and November 30, 2025, with up to 20% savings on all seats and all flights from July 31 to August 1, 2025.
AirAsia is continuing its Sandugo seat sale beyond the 48-hour period, with rates starting at PHP 407 for a one-way base fare. Bookings for travel from July 31, 2025, to June 30, 2026, can be made until August 3, 2025.
Everyone is invited by AirAsia to a free concert on August 8 at Bantawan, Old Tagbilaran Airport, which will feature live performances by Cup of Joe and Earl Agustin. As part of the Sandugo celebrations, guests can anticipate a night of song and celebration that will showcase AirAsia's dedication to cultural celebration and community involvement.
