The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Daily Fantasy, the first officially licensed fantasy sports platform in the Philippines run by local gaming company RAC Phil Corp., today announced a multi-year partnership that will make Daily Fantasy the league's official daily fantasy partner in the Philippines.

Daily fantasy sports are short-term activities in which participants can create virtual teams made up of real players and receive points based on their performance in real competitions. Through the agreement, Daily Fantasy will create fantasy sports contests based on NBA games, allowing users in the Philippines to pick a new fantasy NBA team every day under a salary cap and make real-time strategic decisions based on NBA players' on-court performance.

Furthermore, Daily Fantasy will use official NBA statistics, provide in-depth statistical insights and interactive content, and run contests to give fans the opportunity to win special rewards.   Daily Fantasy will also be available on the NBA's localized digital channels in the country.

Daily Fantasy, The New Face of Pinoy NBA Fantasy Games

The future of sports gaming has arrived in the Philippines in the form of Daily Fantasy, the country's first local fantasy sports game. This local version of the wildly popular NBA Fantasy is a PAGCOR-licensed online game in which players can earn both in-game and real-life prizes, and it is now available for Philippine NBA fans to play on desktop and mobile website platforms.

Daily Fantasy was the first to establish a local fantasy sports community in the Philippines. Now that this wildly popular game has been localized and is hosted on Philippine servers, NBA enthusiasts and basketball fans can pursue their dream of becoming NBA coaches.

While playing the role of an NBA coach, each player can choose his ideal team of avatars based on real-life NBA basketball players. He or she is then in charge of developing the team's strengths, training the team, and preparing it to compete against other teams and coaches online throughout the online season.

Building an online sports community

After selecting their favorite players for their team during the "Create Team" process, Filipino users can use NBA player images and stats as a reference to make the game as realistic as possible. Players can also interact with one another and trade draft strategies to create the ideal team.

This is an exciting and unique type of gameplay for Filipino online gamers. Previously, no other forms of local fantasy sports were as immersive and closely resembled reality. The thrill of attempting to outwit, out-negotiate, and outplay other players in order to emerge as the season's champion is guaranteed to entice Daily Fantasy players.

Play for real-life prizes online

One of the appeals of this new mode of gaming is the possibility of winning actual prizes. Unlike other online games, Daily Fantasy allows players to win real-world rewards. Players who win big during the NBA season can claim their prize in Coins, the in-game currency, and then withdraw the Coins' value in Philippine Pesos.

Even before Daily Fantasy was fully launched, some gamers had already won large sums of money by playing online. During the mid-August to mid-September 2024 season, all Daily Fantasy Game players won more than 30,000 Rubies, the in-game token for free play. During this time, the highest ROI recorded was 130% in a single match.

For the NBA Season 2024-25, Daily Fantasy introduced exclusive NBA match prizes. Players who create their NBA fantasy teams and participate in the matches have a chance to win a share of PHP 100,000 in prizes.

If you're a true Pinoy gamer who is naturally competitive and passionate about basketball, you won't want to miss out on this innovative game experience designed specifically for the Filipino mindset. Play Daily Fantasy with your friends and begin coaching your dream team today!
