The new Panda Express store in San Pedro, Laguna, offers a variety of entrées with Chinese influences, including the bestselling dish, The Original Orange Chicken®.

With the opening of its first location in Pacita, San Pedro, Laguna, the Jollibee Group continues to expand its Philippine franchise of Panda Express®, becoming the largest American Chinese dining concept in the world. The momentous opening marked the second drive-thru location for the Panda in the Philippines and its first in South Luzon.

The Original Orange Chicken®, the most popular dish at this brand-new restaurant in San Pedro, Laguna, is made with crispy, boneless chicken bites that have been wok-tossed in Panda's own sweet and spicy sauce. The Honey Walnut Shrimp, Beef Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, and Savory Shrimp will all be available at the new location.

A long line of energized drive-through clients fired arranging as soon as 8:30am. The Panda Express Pacita restaurant offered guests exciting promotions to mark the store's opening. The initial 50 drive-through clients got a Panda Bear, and free medium Orange Chicken for those with a base request worth of P750. Dine-in and takeout customers could also participate in a fun activity where they could win exciting prizes and freebies.

A long queue of excited drive-thru customers started lining up as early as 8:30am. The first 50 drive-thru customers received a Panda Bear.

Panda Express Pacita is the fourth store to be opened in 2023, following the kickoff of the Sumulong Roadway, WalterMart Makati, and SM Tanza cafés recently. There are currently a total of 18 Panda Express locations in the Philippines.

The most recent establishment is also the 100th international restaurant, and it is located in Marikina City at the intersection of Toyota Avenue and Sumulong Highway.

In order to bring the well-known restaurant brand from the United States to the Philippines, Jollibee Group and Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. (PRG) established JBPX Foods, Inc. in 2019. The new store will be the sixth Panda Express in the whole Metro Manila area, since opening its first location at SM Megamall in Ortigas, Pasig City in late 2019.

For health-conscious foodies, Panda’s Wok Smart® entrees offer dishes with at least eight grams of protein and 300 or less calories, such as Panda’s Black Pepper Chicken, a flavorful stir-fry with marinated chicken, celery and onion, coated in a bold black pepper sauce; or Kung Pao Chicken, a Sichuan-inspired dish made with chicken, fresh vegetables, crunchy peanuts and dried chilis for a slight kick; and the classic Broccoli Beef, a tender beef entrée with fresh broccoli wok-tossed in a savory ginger soy sauce.
