My TOP 10 Picks to Buy from UNIQLO's 2026 Fall/Winter Collection for Modern City Living!

I recently got a first look at UNIQLO Philippines’ 2026 Fall/Winter Collection, and this season’s “Modern City Living” theme really caught my attention. The new LifeWear lineup is all about keeping up with everyday life—whether I’m heading to the mall, attending events, traveling, running errands, or simply going out with friends.

What I love about this collection is that UNIQLO continues to focus on pieces that are not only stylish but also comfortable, functional, and easy to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe. From relaxed denim and lightweight outerwear to cozy knits and versatile innerwear, there are plenty of pieces that caught my eye.

My Top Picks from the Collection

1. Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans

One of the first pieces that caught my attention was the Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans. The relaxed barrel-leg silhouette gives the classic jeans a more contemporary look while keeping the outfit comfortable. I can easily imagine wearing these with a basic T-shirt and sneakers for a casual day, or dressing them up with a shirt and jacket when heading to an event.

2. EZY Wide Straight Jeans

UNIQLO's versatile Bottoms collection offers flattering silhouettes for every style, from relaxed Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans and comfortable EZY Wide Straight Jeans to the seasons genderless Culottes

For anyone who prioritizes comfort, the EZY Wide Straight Jeans are definitely worth checking out. They give you the appearance of denim while offering the comfortable feel of sweatpants. For me, this is the kind of piece that makes sense for travel and long days when I want to stay comfortable without looking too casual.

3. Harrington Jacket

The Harrington Jacket is one of those timeless outerwear pieces that can easily become a wardrobe staple. It's simple enough for everyday wear and works well as a lightweight layer. Since the Philippines doesn't always require heavy winter clothing, I like the idea of having versatile jackets that can be worn during cooler days or when traveling abroad.

4. Denim Trucker Jacket

Another classic is the Denim Trucker Jacket. Denim jackets are easy to style, and this one can be paired with everything from dresses and skirts to jeans and basic T-shirts. It's also a great layering piece for travel because it can instantly make a simple outfit look more polished.

5. Fleece Collection

UNIQLO's travel essentials Fleece, HEATTECH, and PUFFTECH offer lightweight warmth, comfort, and versatile layering for effortless travel to cooler destinations

UNIQLO's Fleece collection offers lightweight warmth, comfort, and versatile styles in a range of colors for effortless layering and travel to cooler destinations

The Fleece line is definitely something I would consider for my travels to colder destinations. The collection comes in different colors and styles for both men and women, with lightweight designs that provide warmth without feeling too heavy. If you're planning a trip somewhere with colder weather, this is one category I'd definitely check out.

6. Souffle Yarn Knits

UNIQLO's Knit collection offers everyday comfort and versatility, from cozy 100% extra-fine merino wool Soufflé Yarn Knits to refined Smooth Cotton Knits

UNIQLO's Knit collection offers everyday comfort and versatility, from cozy 100% extra-fine merino wool Soufflé Yarn Knits to refined Smooth Cotton Knits

For something cozy and elevated, the Souffle Yarn Knits are another standout. They're made from 100% extra fine merino wool, offering warmth while maintaining that refined look. These are perfect for layering and can easily transition from casual daytime outfits to something more polished.

7. Cashmere Crew Neck Sweater

Matteo Guidicelli captures the appeal of UNIQLO Knits, showcasing the comfort and versatility of cashmere in the 2026 Fall Winter Collection

The Cashmere Crew Neck Sweater, which was also styled by Matteo Guidicelli during the launch, immediately gave me that classic and sophisticated vibe. It's the kind of timeless piece that can be worn season after season, especially when traveling to colder destinations.

8. Smart Culottes

I also like the versatility of the Smart Culottes. They offer a polished silhouette while still giving you the freedom and comfort of a relaxed bottom. Solenn Heussaff's styling of the Smart Culottes showed how they can work beautifully with layered tops and outerwear.

9. Lounge & Underwear

UNIQLO's Loungewear and Innerwear collections combine stay-in comfort with versatile functionality and style designed to transition effortlessly beyond the home

The collection also includes Loungewear and Innerwear, which bring together comfort and functionality. I appreciate that UNIQLO continues to design pieces that can work at home but can also be styled for going outside. Because let's be honest—if something is comfortable enough for a stay-in day but cute enough for a quick coffee run, that's a win for me!

10. Sport Utility Wear

For those who are always moving, UNIQLO's Sport Utility Wear (SUW) brings together comfort and functionality. The pieces are designed for everyday movement, from errands and light activities to more active pursuits. This category makes sense for my lifestyle because I’m often moving from one place to another throughout the day.

More Than Just Clothes

The 2026 Fall/Winter season also marks the 10th anniversary of UNIQLO U, celebrating a decade of evolving LifeWear essentials.

There's also the upcoming UNIQLO : C Fall/Winter collection, while fans of UNIQLO Core T and UT can look forward to new designs inspired by Japan, iconic characters, and pop art, including Manga 100th, YOASOBI, Pokémon, Ukiyo-e, Peanuts, and NY POP ART.

Anne Curtis Brings Her Own Take on Modern City Style

“What I’m wearing is the Fluffy Yarn Fleece Full-Zip Jacket and underneath is the UNIQLO : C Milano Ribbed Full-Zip Cardigan, and then I have my Baggy Barrel Jeans. It’s pretty chill, relaxed, and for someone like me who gets cold easily, even in Manila, it’s perfect for me. As you can see, I’m not even sweating. It’s comfy, it’s perfect, and it’s fluffy.” ~Anne Curtis, UNIQLO’s Newest Local Celebrity Partner, Award-winning Actress and Host

UNIQLO's Commitment to Positive Impact. Beyond the clothes, I also appreciate the initiatives connected to this season. UNIQLO Philippines is highlighting the local implementation of the global PEACE FOR ALL initiative in partnership with Plan International Pilipinas, supporting underserved Filipino youth, particularly young women.

The program aims to provide skills development, employability support, and entrepreneurship opportunities. Proceeds from purchases of the new PEACE FOR ALL collection will support the initiative, including its local program in Valenzuela City and broader efforts worldwide.

UNIQLO has also introduced Re.UNIQLO Special Artisan Patches as part of the celebration of the 70th Friendship Year between the Philippines and Japan. Created with local artisans nationwide, the patches feature elements inspired by historical landmarks, seasons, food, and other cultural references.

More Reasons to Celebrate the Collection

The season also marks the 10th anniversary of UNIQLO U, celebrating ten years of evolving LifeWear essentials, and the upcoming release of the UNIQLO: C collection for Fall/Winter. New designs influenced by pop art, Manga 100th, YOASOBI, Pokemon, Ukiyo-e, Peanuts, and NY POP ART are also anticipated by fans of UNIQLO Core T and the UT collection.

UNIQLO continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and community-beneficial initiatives in addition to developing new products.

UNIQLO Philippines is showcasing the first local implementation of the global PEACE FOR ALL initiative to support impoverished Filipino youth, particularly young women.  The project aims to provide people with opportunities for entrepreneurship, employability support, and skill development that can enhance their future standard of living in partnership with Plan International Pilipinas. The proceeds from every purchase of the new PEACE FOR ALL collection will support the initiative, which includes the local program in Valenzuela City and PEACE FOR ALL's larger global efforts. The program will continue to support underprivileged communities for the next three years.

Additionally, UNIQLO recently introduced the Re.UNIQLO Special Artisan Patches in honor of Japan and the Philippines' 70th anniversary of friendship. The designs, which were created in partnership with regional craftspeople across the country, feature historical sites from both nations as well as elements influenced by the seasons, cuisine, and other factors. By working with regional craftspeople to produce the patch designs, which consumers can add to their preferred UNIQLO products via the Re.UNIQLO Studio Embroidery Service, the initiative also seeks to support schools of living traditions across the country.

What makes this collection appealing to me is its versatility. UNIQLO isn't simply presenting seasonal pieces; it's creating LifeWear that can adapt to different parts of everyday life.

From city commutes and workdays to travel, errands, events, and colder destinations, the UNIQLO 2026 Fall/Winter Collection shows how fashion can be comfortable, functional, and stylish at the same time.

After seeing the collection up close, I already have a few pieces in mind for my next shopping trip!

Top 5 Must Have The Uniqlo 2026 Spring / Summer LifeWear Collection

“At UNIQLO, our goal is to create clothes designed for life’s needs, following our LifeWear philosophy. Our new collection presents clothes that are light and airy to wear, fresh to look at, and fun to style, because we want everyone to enjoy the warm weather to the fullest. We’ve got new styles, colors, and patterns for everyone to get creative with this season. As always, there are innovations and new technology for enhanced and functional comfort.” ~Geraldine Sia, UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer

UNIQLO once again redefines modern dressing with its 2026 Spring / Summer LifeWear Collection, centering the season on the concept of “Ultimate Basic.” More than just wardrobe staples, these pieces are designed to enhance everyday life through thoughtful creation, purposeful details, and timeless appeal. Rooted in simplicity, the collection balances functionality with the joy of wearing clothes—making each piece feel effortless, versatile, and relevant. Recently unveiled at an exclusive media preview, the lineup highlights how elevated basics can adapt seamlessly to daily routines, travel moments, and changing climates, all while maintaining comfort and understated sophistication.

Drawing inspiration from global destinations and contemporary lifestyles, the collection brings together clean silhouettes, breathable fabrics, and refined textures that feel natural to wear. Colors are calm yet expressive, patterns are subtle but intentional, and proportions are designed to flatter movement rather than restrict it. This season, UNIQLO reinforces its LifeWear philosophy by proving that simplicity doesn’t mean boring—it means smart design, longevity, and clothing that truly works for real life.

UNIQLO's LifeWear philosophy of improving everyday life through clothing is being elevated once more, with the 2026 Spring/Summer collection centered on the concept of “Ultimate Basic.” The exciting line-up, which balances functionality with the joy of wearing clothes, was recently showcased during an exclusive media preview.

The notion of “Ultimate Basic” is based on modern consumer needs. UNIQLO draws inspiration from the high demand for the perfect everyday wear that combines style and functionality, particularly for the next season. The end result is a vast collection created to embrace both comfort and style for the spring and summer seasons, achieved through playful colors, clever patterns, easy forms, and wise material selections.

UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer Geraldine Sia, said before presenting the collection and introducing UNIQLO Philippines’ newest line-up of local celebrity partners.

While the season’s go-to may be basic jeans, t-shirts, linen, shorts, and Sport Utility Wear, UNIQLO Philippines Marketing Director Jan Ang said that the brand’s new collection has “elevated these spring and summer essentials to the ultimate level.”

Ang was joined on stage by members of the revamped lineup, each representing a key UNIQLO item for the season. Sarah Geronimo, a popstar, and Matteo Guidicelli, an actor, represent the Core T-shirt and Linen lines, respectively. Solenn Heussaff, an actress, also fronts the Linen collection, which highlights this must-have piece for the warmer months. Model Anthony Constantino for Jeans, athlete Kianna Dy for UV Protection, and actress Alexa Ilacad for Bra Top complete the lineup.

Spring Pieces Inspired by Urban Rome Styles

UNIQLO's newest season collection draws inspiration from the stylish but carefree metropolitan atmosphere of the Italian city. For a chic and comfortable look that is suitable for both city life and vacation, especially in the summer, think about pairing large men's shirts or blouses with shorts. Rome's contemporary architecture also acts as a style reference with its stark white color palette and straightforward forms.

“You can wear a different combination every day and still get the ultimate satisfaction, because both are comfortable and versatile. So, just have fun with it! Express your mood with your color and style!” ~Sarah Geronimo

Sarah Geronimo wore linen with a Core T-shirt during the event, which is another material that works nicely for this look.

Who says jeans aren't suitable for the warmer months in the interim? For its 2026 Spring/Summer Collection, UNIQLO bases the appeal of its jeans on three elements: comfort, style, and timelessness. The Baggy Jeans and EZY Jeans are the perfect jeans for this summer and beyond, offering stylish styles for all body types. The three Fs of Fit, Fabric, and Finish are the focus points of every piece.

“But the UNIQLO jeans are definitely fire. It’s the perfect example of ‘Ultimate Basic.’ It’s an old reliable upgraded with better fabric and craftsmanship. You will go to bed wearing this if you can. That’s how comfortable it is.” ~Athony Constantino

For Anthony, a model, wearing a lot of clothes comes part of the job.

Fresh summer looks from Amalfi Coast

Lighter materials and more vivid colors that go well with the coastal surroundings and ambiance give off an Amalfi Coast vibe. Start with the W's Ribbed Cropped Bra Top and AIRism Bra Sleeveless Top or the Premium Linen Longsleeve Shirt and Linen Blend Easy Pants for maximum comfort and breathability. Additional options for AIRism inners include the W's AIRism Bra Camisole, W's AIRism Sleeveless Top, AIRism Crew Neck T-shirt, and AIRism Cotton Crew Neck T-shirt.

“It’s light and low maintenance. In this new collection, I am enjoying the new hues and patterns. I never thought I’d wear a top with built-in bra again since my early teens, but UNIQLO made it so well. Never be afraid to try and explore.” ~Alexa Ilacad

Alexa shared her thoughts about the wonders of the Bra Top, saying.

“I like the relaxed silhouette and roomy fit at the shoulders, chest, and hem. It’s very comfortable but also stylish at the same time.” ~Matteo Guidicelli

Meanwhile, Matteo rocked UNIQLO Linen during the event, which he believes promotes the perfect summer vibes.

“Is the most comfortable yet elegant wear in my wardrobe right now. It’s light, airy, flowy, and can be enough as is. You can still layer it, if you want and if necessary, like with knitwear or a cardigan over it. But I really focus more on the shoes and accessories that I pair with it.” ~Solenn Heussaff

Solenn followed, adding her UNIQLO Linen selection.

UV Protection

Being shielded from the sun's harmful rays is essential to feeling confident and stylish. The new Ultra Stretch AIRism UV Protection Full-zip Hoodie from UNIQLO, which offers both UV protection and a cool-to-touch feature for comfort, was introduced since summertime is best spent outside. Other stylish options are the Dry-EX UV Protection Full Zip Hoodie and the UV Protection Crew Neck Longsleeve Cardigan.

“Since the weather is about to get hot and humid, I have started refreshing my wardrobe with new UV pieces for my active lifestyle. Wearing something with UV protection gives me the peace of mind that my skin is safe from the sun. Plus, the fact that it has so many colors that fit my outfits, as well as its casual styles, makes it perfect for my everyday looks.” ~Kianna

Moreover, for a true summer staple, UNIQLO introduces a new eyewear line under its 2026 Spring/Summer Collection, showcasing different frames that fit a myriad of looks.

2026 Spring / Summer Collaboration and UT Line-up

During the occasion, an exhibit was also set up that showcased UNIQLO's significant partnerships, including UNIQLO: C, UNIQLO U, and UNIQLO × Comptoir des Cotonniers. UNIQLO's summer UT Line-up is also meant to attract notice because of how many people buy shirts in the warmer months. The new designs will include pieces by MoMA, Elliot Erwin, Disney & Timeless Magic For All, Powerpuff Girls, SHUEISHA 100, and BABYMONSTER.

Sustainability Initiatives

UNIQLO, a business that has made progress in enhancing people's lives, the environment, and society, is still promoting its sustainability initiatives. This season, UNIQLO is highlighting the PEACE FOR ALL Charity T-shirt initiative, which backs international initiatives to advance peace. Over 9 million t-shirts have been sold in all of the brand's stores globally since the project started in 2022, generating over JPY 2,883,233,700. UNIQLO distributes its profits to three partner organizations: UNHCR, Plan International, and Save the Children. In the meantime, celebrities and icons like Roger Federer, Haruka Ayase, PEANUTS, Keith Haring, and Christophe Lemair, to mention a few, collaborate on the many t-shirt designs.

UNIQLO also highlights its RE.UNIQLO Studio service, which fixes and updates your LifeWear goods to encourage circularity. In addition to embroidery, the Studio offers repair services to give each piece a unique taste and make it truly unique. This season, UNIQLO's Manila Global Flagship Store, UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia, and UNIQLO BGC High Street are selling the company's most recent patches, which were developed in collaboration with Disney.
