I was welcomed by the delightful aroma of freshly made coffee as soon as I entered Manifesto Salcedo, along with the relaxing background music and vibrant decor, which together formed a welcoming mood in the café.
I excitedly browsed the menu but was unableto make a decision right away because every item looked delectable. Each meal appeared to be more enticing and refreshing than the last, indicating that the cafe's culinary staff had been inspired by the summertime.
I couldn't help myself when I entered from the hot summer sun and tried the Phyto Fiber Boost smoothie. It was made with a nutritious mixture of pineapple, apple, celery, and ginger and had a lemony scent punch that roused my taste senses right away.
The C Major smoothie, which blends the vitamin-rich flavors of orange and strawberries with banana to create a creamy, luscious mixture, will undoubtedly be on my list of must-try items when I return.
But what really aroused my appetite was the avocado on toast. It had a distinct summer flavor that made me feel as though I was relaxing on an Australian beach, and it was garnished with fresh basil and capers.
I felt energised and prepared to face the day after eating the muesli with fruits, honey, and yoghurt because it was a mouthwatering and fulfilling blend of textures and flavors. Any summer day deserves a delicious and refreshing treat, and the waffle topped with blueberries, ice cream, and honey was just what I needed. In the middle of the stressful metropolis, Manifesto Salcedo offered an oasis of calm where I could savor each exquisite meal.
As if the food and drinks weren't enough to make me fall in love with this place, I had the pleasure of chatting with the senior barista, who was both
knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. He shared with me his love for coffee art, and I was amazed by the intricate rosetta he created on top of my flat white which looked too good to drink.
Overall, my visit to Manifesto Salcedo was a delightful respite from the daily grind. The cafe's welcoming and cozy ambiance, complemented by their scrumptious and invigorating summer menu, revitalized my spirit and left me excited to revisit.I can't wait to see what other surprises the team has in store for the next season!
