Cebu Pacific marks its 100th aircraft with its brand-new 12th Airbus A330neo

“Reaching 100 aircraft is more than a milestone — it reflects our unwavering commitment to make air travel accessible to more Filipinos. With a larger fleet, we’re able to operate more efficiently, enhance connectivity across the country and the region, and pass on the benefits of scale through even lower fares.”  ~Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer

With the delivery of its newest aircraft, a brand-new A330neo, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the top airline in the Philippines, has achieved a historic milestone: it is now the first local carrier to run a fleet of 100 aircraft.

Additionally, the A330neo is the 12th aircraft of its type to be added to CEB's fleet, solidifying the airline's standing as the Asia-Pacific region's largest A330neo operator.

Arriving in Manila from Airbus' Toulouse, France factory, the 459-seater aircraft is the second of four A330neos that are anticipated to join CEB's fleet this year. The first one arrived on March 28.  In 2025, CEB anticipates the delivery of seven aircraft in total.

Aircraft Cabin Interior Design

The inside of CEB's A330neo aircraft features design elements influenced by the company's city of Cebu and its brand colors, which represent the hues of the Philippine islands.  LIFT Aero Design customized the cabin to represent the brand.
  • Teal lighting panel is inspired by the clear Philippine waters.
  • Blue-on-blue mango patterns on the front and rear walls pay tribute to Cebu’s mangoes.
  • Calming blue-grey leather, and a carbon fiber texture are reminiscent of Cebu's famous puso or hanging rice.
  • Carpets inspired by the eagle icon of Cebu Pacific.
  • Lavatory walls also come in golden yellow, complete with a mango detail.
  • Yellow and blue seat accents represent premium and standard seats, respectively.

The A330neo gives CEB the ability to serve regional and long-haul routes, as well as high-demand markets.  With greater range and capacity, the aircraft allows the airline to optimize operations while remaining cost-effective.

The most recent generation of airplanes, known as Airbus NEOs, emit less noise and use up to 25% less fuel each flight than their predecessors.  Aircraft carbon emissions fall in tandem with the decrease in fuel usage.

With a fleet of 12 Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 22 ATR turboprops, CEB has one of the youngest fleets in the world and provides the Philippines with the most extensive network coverage.

CEB operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
