Cebu Pacific Showcases Filipino Culture at Australia’s Bondi Festival

Cebu Pacific Showcases Filipino Culture at Australia’s Bondi Festival.

With the opening of the Cebu Pacific Travel Beach Bar at Bondi Beach, a first-of-its-kind heated beach bar that offers guests attending the annual Bondi Festival a singular experience of the Philippines, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the top airline in the Philippines, brings the warmth and depth of Filipino culture to Australia.

Standing heaters all around the vacation beach bar create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of the Philippines, making it the ideal place to escape Australia's winters.  It also brings a bit of the Philippines to Bondi Beach, one of Australia's most famous tourist sites, with Filipino cuisine, music, and a design influenced by the bahay kubo.

CEB travelers can purchase one-way all-in tickets to Australia for as little as PHP 7,999 until July 31, 2025.  The August 1–December 31, 2025, travel window is ideal for vacations.

The first airline to be officially recognized as an airline partner of the Bondi Festival is CEB's travel beach bar, a groundbreaking partnership that demonstrates CEB's dedication to introducing Filipino enjoyment to a global audience. Until July 20, attendees of the festival are welcome to visit the Cebu Pacific Travel Beach Bar.

As part of CEB's ongoing global initiative to encourage tourists to experience the nation's varied islands in their own special way, the travel beach bar expands on the airline's Fly to Your Happy Philippines promotion.

Bondi Beach, which is just outside of central Sydney, is well-known for its long stretch of beach, surf culture, and relaxed vibe that draw both locals and visitors.  It hosts the Bondi Festival every winter, which is a festival of the arts, live entertainment, and culinary adventures made even more thrilling by CEB's travel beach bar with a tropical motif.

Filipinos can travel to Bondi Beach and other well-known Australian locations with daily flights from Manila to Sydney and four weekly flights to Melbourne.  There is a plenty to see all year long, from Melbourne's Flinders Street Station and Federation Square to Sydney's Bondi Beach and Opera House.

CEB launched its Manila-Sydney route in 2014, followed by Manila-Melbourne in 2018. The airline has flown over 250 million passengers as it continues to offer affordable and accessible flights.

CEB operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
