Green Cross continues operations to meet increased demand in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic

“We are working very hard despite having limited manpower and materials. Our production lines are working longer hours as we try to meet the unprecedented demand. We urge consumers to do their part in ensuring the availability of alcohol by not hoarding, and by limiting purchases to two bottles as recommended by the DTI. We are all working hard to make sure that the supplies needed to combat the spread of the virus are readily and sufficiently available for all, especially for our tireless health workers and other frontliners. We are one with the nation in this fight against an invisible enemy.  With everyone's cooperation, we are confident that the country will be able to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and move toward recovery.” ~Michael Co, Green Cross President

In line with Green Cross Inc.'s efforts to meet consumers' demand for alcohol. The COVID 19 pandemic caused a surge in demand for alcohol, sanitizers, and PPE. Green Cross has then increased its efforts to double the stocks they normally send out to retailers while ensuring the well-being of their team. Green Cross, Inc. continues production to help address the surge in demand from consumers and hospitals due to the spread of COVID-19.

Green Cross declared that it would see to it that more products will be delivered to hospitals, health centers, and store counters in the coming days, and appealed to the various government authorities to ensure the passage of their employees, supply trucks, and delivery trucks so that this can happen.

Green Cross has also been making arrangements to ensure the health and safety of its employees by providing them with transportation, staff accommodations, meals, vitamins, alcohol pumping stations, and frequent sanitation of its production lines.

Sharing below, the company's official statement:
We at Green Cross are working very hard to continue producing alcohol and germicidal soap to help address the surge in demand due to the spread of coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
Despite the limitations we currently face given the enhanced community quarantine measures, our production lines are running around the clock to meet the unprecedented demand, particularly for alcohol.
We are making arrangements to ensure the safety of our employees by providing transportation, staff accommodations, meals, vitamins, alcohol pumping stations, and regular sanitation of the production lines.
While we are working to have more alcohol delivered in the coming days, we urge consumers to cooperate with authorities and to do their share in normalizing demand by limiting to two bottles their purchase of alcohol, an essential medical supply.

At home, it is well recommended that good hygiene remains a top priority and that proper hand washing is practiced with the use of soap that also provides germ protection for you and your family. Kaya natin ‘to.
