Building on a record-breaking first edition that received 638 submissions from 55 countries, the 2026 campaign's new Top 20 Mentorship Program invites even more innovators worldwide to participate and pairs finalists with professionals in the industry to turn innovative ideas into practical, market-ready solutions.
Following its worldwide premiere at a press conference in Taiwan on May 27, the "Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026" campaign is presently accepting applications from innovators, startups, researchers, institutions, and organizations worldwide, including participants from the Philippines. Participants are encouraged to use Taiwan's products, technologies, and business models to develop scalable health and wellness solutions. This year's new Top 20 Mentorship Program, a compelling new incentive for innovators globally to submit their ideas, will give each finalist immediate access to industry experts.
This campaign, which is run by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, highlights Taiwan's advantages in smart healthcare, medical devices, sports and fitness technology, healthy aging, and wellness. The campaign's theme is "Designing Healthier Futures Together." Participants are urged to use these skills in cities, companies, communities, and institutions across the globe.
After an incredibly successful first edition that received 638 submissions from 55 countries—far exceeding its target of 100 proposals—the 2026 campaign launches a new Top 20 Mentorship Program to help finalists improve business models, validate market opportunities, accelerate commercialization, and strengthen international partnerships.
The impact of last year's campaign is already evident. The winning team reinvested the entire prize money to support hospital donations and equipment purchases after successfully installing Taiwanese medical equipment in Ukrainian hospitals. Switzerland's Perovskia carried out research that was published in Nature in partnership with Everlight Chemical; pilot production is expected in 2026. Ideas Lab and the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science (TISS) in the US collaborated to deploy AI-powered motion analysis technology to expand access to professional-level sports teaching.
How to Submit a Proposal
Qualified participants may submit proposals through the official Go Healthy with Taiwan website. Proposals must be submitted in English and explain the proposed solution, its expected consequences, and how it integrates Taiwanese products, services, technologies, or business models. Predetermined criteria will be used to evaluate submissions.

In addition to creating new opportunities in the domains of sports science, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, and workplace wellness, artificial intelligence (AI), preventative care, and longevity-focused technology are transforming the global health industry. Taiwan has proven its strengths in digital health, smart healthcare, and systems integration, and its technology is highly adaptable in global markets. As the Philippines continues to develop into a hub for digital health and wellness entrepreneurship, the campaign, in collaboration with Taiwan, provides a platform to cultivate promising concepts.
