Philippine Manufacturing Week 2026 Debuts Dual-Sector Focus: Auto Parts Innovation and Die & Mould Excellence

"The co-location of APVE and PDMEX under Philippine Manufacturing Week represents a strategic milestone in our commitment to advancing the Philippine manufacturing ecosystem. By bringing together the automotive aftermarket and die and mould industries, we're creating powerful synergies that showcase the interconnected nature of modern manufacturing. This integrated approach enables our exhibitors and visitors to explore the complete value chain, from precision tooling and component manufacturing to aftermarket distribution and service, all under one roof. We're proud to facilitate the connections and knowledge exchange that will drive innovation and growth across these vital sectors." ~Ms. Rungphech Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines

The World Trade Center Metro Manila will host the nation's largest exhibition of manufacturing innovation and technology as Philippine Manufacturing Week officially begins today. The three-day event, which includes the 3rd Auto Parts and Vehicles Expo (APVE) 2026 Philippines and the 12th Philippine Die and Mould Machinery and Equipment Exhibition (PDMEX), positions itself as the country's premier one-stop shop for everything related to manufacturing and auto parts innovation and excellence.

Philippine Manufacturing Week, the premier B2B event platform for manufacturing technology and innovation, encompasses the full manufacturing value chain, from automotive aftermarket solutions to precision die and mold machinery. The event provides industry professionals with unprecedented opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies, form strategic partnerships, and advance Philippine manufacturing.

Government Leaders Emphasize Strategic Importance

At the opening ceremony, notable government officials highlighted the critical role manufacturing plays in the nation's economic development. Ms. Vivian Santos, Deputy Director General for Operations, on behalf of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), emphasized PEZA's unwavering commitment to supporting the manufacturing sector through policy support, infrastructure development, and strategic incentives that establish the Philippines as a competitive manufacturing hub in the ASEAN region.

The Cooperative Development Authority's Chairperson, Mr. Ferdinand "Jesus" Ortega, has emphasized the organization's commitment to using financial instruments and capacity-building initiatives to empower automakers and transportation cooperatives. His comments have reinforced the government's commitment to fostering an environment that will foster the expansion of both large-scale manufacturers and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the manufacturing and auto parts industries.

The Auto Parts and Vehicles Expo's third edition grew remarkably, which is indicative of the Philippines' growing need for automotive aftermarket solutions. With exhibitors from several nations, including renowned international pavilions from China, Taiwan, and Thailand, this year's exhibition boasts a far larger show portfolio. The varied involvement highlights the Philippines' increasing significance as a major Southeast Asian market for auto parts and aftermarket services.
