AirAsia Philippines Celebrates 16th Skytrax Win with Fares as Low as PHP116, Lighting Up the MOA Globe

“As we lit up the MOA Globe, we also illuminated the journey that brought us here---16 golden years of service built on trust and support from millions of guests who choose to fly with us time and time again. Above all, we’re winning because of our dedicated Allstars (employees). This is what makes our winning story purposefully golden---continuously delivering safe, reliable service, making travel accessible to Filipinos." ~Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines President and General Manager

In honor of its 16th consecutive win as the World's Best Low-Cost Airline at the esteemed 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, AirAsia Philippines illuminated the iconic MOA Globe in red and gold.

With the slogan "Still Winning, Still Gold," the activation honors AirAsia's longstanding reputation as the industry leader in low-cost travel by providing excellent customer service, affordable prices, and seamless connections throughout the region.

AirAsia Philippines introduced special promo fares for a few domestic and international destinations, starting at just PHP116 one-way base fare, to celebrate this historic milestone.  From June 18 to July 3, 2025, more than 450,000 seats can be reserved for travel from July 2, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

To celebrate the victory, AirAsia has also introduced a unique aircraft livery in its megahub in Kuala Lumpur. This livery will be flown throughout the AirAsia network, signifying the airline's continued quality, strength, and the confidence of nearly one billion passengers since its founding in 2001.
