The historic partnership ensures that beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment's various programs receive funds in a timely, secure, and hassle-free manner.

As part of its commitment to providing digital financial services to all sectors, particularly the marginalized and vulnerable, the Palawan Group of Companies has collaborated with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA Region.

Palawan's collaboration with DOLE MIMAROPA has significantly improved and streamlined the department's disbursement processes for distributing stipends and salaries to the many beneficiaries of its various programs, including Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD), the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), and the Government Internship Program.

Since 2019, this collaboration has benefited more than 37,000 DOLE recipients, including marginalized workers, financially disadvantaged but deserving students, out-of-school youth, and other underserved communities. Beneficiaries can now visit Palawan Pawnshop and Palawan Express Pera Padala branches in MIMAROPA or anywhere in the Philippines to cash out their disbursements using Palawan's e-wallet app, PalawanPay. This eliminates the need for lengthy waits to claim their funds.
