The Global Comfort Group member Eurotel Cubao–Vivaldi legally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Pag-IBIG Fund on September 2, 2025. The partnership confirms both organizations' commitment to providing practical and affordable services to Filipino families nationwide.

Under the agreement, Pag-IBIG Loyalty Cardholders are entitled to exclusive privileges in Eurotel branches nationwide:

• 30% discount on room accommodations (based on published rates)
• 10% discount on function room rentals
• 10% discount on food and beverages

The partnership is automatically renewed after the initial two-year period.  The Eurotel locations in Las Piñas, Pedro Gil, Makati, North Edsa, Angeles Pampanga, Cubao, and Boracay will recognize these savings.

Mr. Ronnald S. Guevarra, Vice President for Pag-IBIG Fund Member Services Operations Group-NCR, reaffirmed the importance of the partnership and highlighted how collaborations with private companies like Eurotel expand the benefits and incentives accessible to Pag-IBIG Loyalty Cardholders beyond housing and savings services.

The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was attended by important representatives from both organizations.  Among them were Mr. Allen Vallerio, Senior Manager of Eurotel; Ms. Mariel Quinto, Manager of Eurotel Ads & Promos; and Mr. Mervin M. Pereda, Area Head of Member Services Operations–NCR North Area of Pag-IBIG Fund.

The event featured token exchanges, official photo opportunities, and a fellowship program with partners and members of the press, in addition to a video presentation that showcased the accomplishments of both organizations.

The UP Women's Volleyball Team

The UP Women's Volleyball team (UPWVT) and Global Comfort Group Corporation (GCGC) held a joint press conference to announce their partnership at the Eurotel Vivaldi. 

Global Comfort Group Corporation (GCGC), the management company behind Eurotel and Hotel Sogo, have pledged their unwavering support to the University of the Philippines Women's Volleyball Team (UPWVT) in a press conference held at Eurotel Vivaldi last March 28, 2023, the partnership between the two renowned hotels and the UP Women's Volleyball team was commemorated.

Ms. Mozzy Ravena, Team Consultant/Team Manager of the (UPWVT), Mr. Shaq Delos Santos, UPWVT Coach, and the GCGC team, which included Ms. Sue Geminiano, Corporate Marketing Manager, Ms. Mariel Quinto, Eurotel Ads and Promo Manager, and Mr. Francis Bernardino, Hotel Sogo Ads, and Promo Manager, were all present at the press conference in addition to representatives of the media from various outlets. During the question and answer session, GCGC communicated its obligation to help the UP Ladies' Volleyball crew in their impending games and competitions. To show their support for sports development and gender equality in athletics, the two well-known hotel chains have committed to making a substantial donation to the team.

One of the best college volleyball programs in the nation, the UP Women's Volleyball team has produced highly skilled players over the years. Additionally, the team's advocacy for gender equality in sports has established it as a well-liked institution.

The team will be able to continue competing at the highest levels of college volleyball thanks to this recent commitment from Eurotel and Hotel Sogo, which will help with travel expenses, training facilities, and equipment needs.

The UP community expressed their appreciation for Eurotel and Hotel Sogo's assistance, the perseverance of all of their athletes, and the collective effort of their coaches.

Ms. Geminiano claims that GCGC is committed to providing the team with the resources they need to succeed.

Dean Diaz expressed his gratitude to Hotel Sogo & Eurotel for their support, saying that it will go a long way in helping the UP Women's Volleyball team achieve its goals.

Ms. Ravena, Team Consultant/Team Manager of the UP Women's Volleyball team, also expressed her appreciation for GCGC's commitment to the team, saying that it will positively impact the players' morale and motivation.

Coach Shaq Delos Santos also expressed his appreciation for the partnership.
