Toki, first-ever social commerce platform for collectibles, stands out at TOYCON 2024

“As collectors ourselves, the Toki team knew just how important the TOYCON event is, especially for those who seize the opportunity to maintain and enhance their collections. Even though we launched Toki last November, we couldn't resist making this official debut at the one and only TOYCON Philippines. It has been an absolutely incredible three days, filled with connections, engagement, and meeting so many amazing members of the Toki community. During this event, we were thrilled to see how Toki has rapidly become a central hub for all collectors in just six short months. As Toki continues to grow as the leading marketplace for collectors, we are beyond excited to amplify the energy at TOYCON next year and in the years to come.” ~Frederic Levy, one of Toki’s founders and the social commerce platform’s CEO
Toki, social commerce platform for collectibles, amplified the energy at the biggest annual convention for collectors, TOYCON Philippines.

Toki, the first and only social commerce platform to enable a seamless end-to-end buying journey for collectors, made its debut at TOYCON Philippines, the largest annual collector gathering, held last June 14-16 at SMX Manila.

Since its official launch in November 2023, Toki has quickly become the leading collectibles marketplace, highlighting authentic collectibles from top categories such as Funko, LEGO, Sneakers, Sports Cards, and Toys.

As the pioneer of livestream auctions in the Philippines, hobbyists and enthusiasts attending TOYCON saw Toki host several livestream auctions directly from its booth. To add to the excitement of the premier event, Toki gave away PhP 10,000 in vouchers to lucky winners each day, which can then be used to explore the platform and purchase their favorite collectibles via Toki's secure and convenient buying journey.

In addition, the actor, collector, and top buyer on Toki, Kokoy de Santos, also graced the Toki booth, joining in the excitement and fun Toki is bringing to the convention.

Toki's daily giveaway of PhP 10,000 in vouchers, awarded to one lucky winner each day of TOYCON, was one of the event's main highlights. To make a big impression at their first major collector event, Toki encouraged attendees to participate in a special giveaway, where winners could use their prizes to explore the platform and purchase their favorite collectibles using Toki's seamless end-to-end buying journey.

TOYCON has been the premier collector convention for the past 20 years, and the 2024 event will be its 21st. As Toki makes its first appearance at the industry event since its launch in November 2023, the platform has curated its booth to officially unveil to the collectors' community in the Philippines the only end-to-end digital marketplace ever created for collectibles.

The fun doesn’t stop at TOYCON Philippines. Toki, in partnership with Secret Fresh, is bringing back the weekend gathering for collectors - ‘Beyond the Block’ - taking place at Ronac Lifestyle Center in Magallanes, Makati, this 30 June. Through free admission, passionate and would-be collectors can join in the fun for an engaging day of food, games, and geeking out on the top collectibles. Learn more here
