Mission: TAPOSible Rallies Filipinos in a United Front Against Dengue



OFF and Baygon®! Today, SC Johnson's pest-control brands formally introduce Mission: TAPOSible, a national initiative urging Filipino households to contribute to the preservation of life's ordinary moments by incorporating dengue prevention into their daily routine.  At Market, the campaign gets underway!  Market!  in Taguig City, where four well-known local figures—Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, Melai Cantiveros, and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo—joined forces as brand ambassadors to urge people to learn more about dengue and take preventative action to shield their homes and communities from diseases spread by mosquitoes.

With Mission: TAPOSible, Baygon® and OFF!® aim to help inspire a shift towards proactive, year-round protection so families can focus on what matters most: spending time together, uninterrupted.





About Mission: TAPOSible

According to the most latest statistics from the Department of Health (DOH), the Philippines saw over 123,000 instances of dengue between January 1st and June 7th of this year. The most afflicted were urban dwellers and children between the ages of 5 and 9.

Consistent dengue prevention is even more crucial now that the rainy season is well underway and there is a greater chance of mosquito breeding grounds.




Mission: TAPOSible, a comprehensive campaign run by Baygon® and OFF, fills that need! Bringing the campaign to life, Baygon® and OFF!® are launching a multi-faceted, experiential event designed to drive both education and engagement. The event amplifies the campaign’s call to action and features a variety of on-ground activities:
  • The premiere of a dengue documentary: Highlighting the real-life impact of dengue through different points of view including a survivor’s experience, insights from entomologists, and ongoing local prevention efforts.   • The OFF!® Jingle Dance: Turning the brand’s catchy jingle into a fun activity for visitors to enjoy together. Dancers lead simple steps, inviting visitors to join in, learn the moves, and dance along. It’s not only a fun moment but also a rewarding experience, with exciting prizes awaiting participants.
  • Celebrity Meet-And-Greet Sessions, Interactive Games And Booth Activities: The event features activities that incorporate aspects of the Department of Health’s 5S strategy, helping visitors to learn about key dengue prevention steps while enjoying games and interactive experiences. The public can also explore mosquito and dengue facts through info panels and educational displays available at the event. 



Misson: TAPOSible helps empower every family to take charge and preserve what they value most by establishing a common commitment to dengue protection.  Families can significantly contribute to protecting their loved ones by adopting easy practices like using insect repellent before leaving the house, protecting indoor areas with aerosol sprays or coils, or routinely cleaning possible mosquito breeding grounds outside the house.

Filipinos are encouraged to take part in Mission: TAPOSible by making a personal pledge at https://missiontaposible.com/. To join, simply enter your name, email address and province, then click the pledge button to show your commitment in taking daily steps to prevent dengue.
