Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines: Showcase of Taiwan's Soft & Hard Power



After a six-year break, the much-anticipated Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines, organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will return to the Philippines from September 17 to 19 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.  In order to create anticipation for the Taiwan Expo, a special press conference was conducted today, the 13th, to give the leaders of industry groups and the Philippine mainstream media an exclusive sneak peek at the cutting-edge goods and integrated solutions that would be on display at the Expo.




Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines this year is a significant turning point for Taiwan's post-pandemic re-engagement with the Philippine market, stressed Mr. Woody Wang, Deputy Executive Director of TAITRA.  The exhibition has been carefully planned around five main topics: Green & Sustainability, Agritech & Aquatech, Health & Wellness, Smart Technologies, and Intelligent Lifestyle. These themes are in accordance with the policies of the Philippine government, changing market demands, and new consumer trends.  With its five thematic pavilions and industry zones, the Expo will highlight more than 140 top Taiwanese businesses, showcasing the country's diverse industrial competitiveness and inventiveness.

















The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO) Minister, Mr. Dustin Teng-Shi Yang, emphasized that Taiwan's cutting-edge technology and well-  The Philippines' rapidly growing market and youthful demographic dividend are ideally complemented by proven industrial capabilities, opening up a plethora of opportunities for cooperation.

All five of the major themes were covered in the press conference's product highlights.  MIC Meter Industrial Co., Ltd. demonstrated its Bluetooth Soil nutrition 9-in-1 meter and AloT Pig Counter Board under Agritech & Aquatech, highlighting real-time monitoring and accurate livestock management.  In the meantime, JNC Technology Co., Ltd. demonstrated its Water Sensor and Multi-channel Gas Detector, providing effective solutions.  designed for aquaculture and smart agriculture.



















The airaTrack-Intelligent Person Tracking Solution, which AIRA Corporation introduced in the Smart Technologies space, smoothly interacts with current surveillance  infrastructures.  In order to meet the urgent need for safe, non-red supply chain products in the Philippines, Zyxel Networks showcased its cloud technology integrated with cutting-edge cybersecurity capabilities.




V5med Inc. demonstrated their AI-assisted software, V5med Lung AI, which set new benchmarks in precision medicine, while ASUS led the way in Health & Wellness with ICT-based smart medical applications.

Super Battery Co., Ltd. showcased inventive lithium battery applications under Green & Sustainability, while hiPower Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. showcased state-of-the-art renewable hydrogen energy solutions. Both companies are actively addressing the global  change in energy.

Within Intelligent Lifestyle, Morita Biotech Co., Ltd. showcased well-known skincare products from Taiwan while SHAAN HONQ INT'L COSMETICS CORP. unveiled a high-end hair care line that expertly combines technology and beauty, highlighting the robustness and allure of Taiwan's beauty sector.

These developments not only demonstrate scientific progress but also meet the various demands of the Philippine market, such as food safety, energy stability, and accessibility.  improvements to lifestyle, cybersecurity, and healthcare.
