“Hindi magiging ganito si Alyssa kung wala yung tulong ng mga taong nasa paligid ko… Ako po ay nagpapasalamat sa inyo (Alyssa wouldn't be like this without the help of the people around me… I am grateful to all of you). I love you all. Thank you is not enough, but thank you for being there for me always. To my mom, thank you so much for bringing me into this beautiful world and introducing me to the most beautiful people.” ~Alyssa Segura
Every child who grows up with love, understanding, and support often has a village of adults who quietly help them along the way.
In many Filipino families, care is shared throughout generations and communities. It comes from parents who work tirelessly to provide, lolas who give guidance, titas who step in when needed, teachers who offer assistance, and caregivers who treat children as their own. These consistent actions of support, though often inconspicuous, foster a sense of security, confidence, and belonging in kids.
This Mother's Day, McDonald's Philippines is honoring shared motherhood with a new documentary that honors people who help parents raise their kids.
