UnionBank is pleased to launch a new milestone in digital banking innovation with the launch of the Mobile Tap to Pay feature on its multi-awarded UnionBank Online app. This most recent solution, which was created with speed, ease of use, and security in mind, allows users to make regular payments with a single tap, thereby eliminating the need for a wallet.
Customers can use any NFC-enabled Android device connected to their UnionBank Visa Debit or Credit Card to make safe, contactless payments after the new functionality is activated on the UnionBank Online App. Users can conduct transactions at any Visa contactless terminal in the world by only tapping their phone; no further steps or actual card are needed.
Customers can access UnionBank's tap-to-pay functionality through biometric authentication in a matter of seconds after it has been activated and launched straight from the app's login screen.
